Ireland gay marriage: Church and parties battle for votes

The Republic of Ireland goes to the polls on Friday to decide whether to change the constitution to make gay marriage legal.

The referendum makes it the first country in the world to vote on the issue.

All of the Republic's main political parties are calling for a "yes" but the Catholic Church is opposed to any change.
