Migrants saved by Royal Navy ship off Libya coast

A Royal Navy ship has rescued hundreds of migrants in the central Mediterranean on Thursday.

HMS Bulwark, using landing craft, recovered more than 350 people - 50 of them children - just north of Libya.

The UK's Ministry of Defence said when the wooden boat was found, it was heavily overcrowded.
