Hungary's open border crossing for migrants

The European Commission has pledged to send financial aid and experts to Hungary to help tackle an influx of migrants over its border with Serbia.

Hungary says that more than 65,000 immigrants have already entered illegally from Serbia this year, most of them believed to be from the Middle East and Kosovo.

Hungary's plan to build a fence on the border between the countries is the focus of talks between the two governments on Wednesday.

The BBC's Nick Thorpe visited one popular crossing point on the border to see how easy it is to get between the two countries.
