Russia vetoes Srebrenica 'genocide' UN vote

Russia has vetoed a United Nations resolution that would have condemned the Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia 20 years ago as an act of genocide.

The organisation's failure to protect 8,000 Muslim men and boys under its care is considered one of the darkest moments in the UN's history.
