Hundreds of ships and boats sail into Amsterdam

A flotilla of hundreds of tall ships and other boats has sailed into Amsterdam, a city famous for its canals.

The five-day festival, which celebrates Amsterdam's maritime history, sees approximately 600 vessels navigate the North Sea Canal before mooring around the river IJ.
