Macedonia police open border to some migrants

Hundreds of migrants have started streaming into Macedonia after the authorities allowed some of them to enter.

Earlier, police had fired tear gas to disperse thousands of people trying to get into the country from Greece.

Large crowds had spent the night stuck on Macedonia's southern border, and attempted to charge police in the morning.

About 440,000 people have reportedly travelled through Macedonia in the past two months.

Guy De Launey reports.
