Greece election: Syriza party wins

Alexis Tsipras thanked voters following his left-wing Syriza party victory in the Greek general election.

Syriza is projected to be just short of a majority but the Independent Greeks have agreed to join a coalition.

Speaking to his supporters, he said: "The Greek people gave a clear mandate for us to continue to battle in and out of the country, to elevate our people's dignity."
