Migrants in Austria given clothes and shoes for journey

Almost 4,000 migrants have crossed into Austria from Hungary in recent hours, and they are welcomed by the Austrian authorities and the Red Cross which provides food, fresh clothes and shoes.

Most will make their onwards towards Germany, with many choosing taxis over government provided buses and shelters.
