Paris raids: President salutes Saint-Denis residents

The French President has spoken about Wednesday's raids in the Saint-Denis district of Paris, in which two people were killed.

Police carried out a seven-hour raid on a flat suspected of housing the alleged mastermind of Friday's attacks in the capital.

A woman blew herself up with a suicide belt and another suspect was killed by gunfire. Seven arrests were made.

The fate of chief suspect Abdelhamid Abaaoud is not yet clear.
