Video shows migrant boat 'hit' by Turkish coast guards

The BBC has been given a video which appears to show Turkish coastguards using sticks to hit a migrant boat in the Aegean sea.

The video is believed to have been filmed in Turkish waters near the Greek island of Lesbos.

The migrants accused coast guards of attacking them, but Turkey says the coast guards were trying to stop the boat without harming the occupants.
