Inside the Vatican leak trial

Since November, a trial has been taking place inside the Vatican of three officials and two Italian journalists over the leaking of internal documents that revealed widespread mismanagement of funds at the Catholic Church's headquarters.

The trial is closed to the public, but the Vatican allows a small group of journalists to attend each of the hearings.
