Georgia politicians fight during heated TV debate

A physical fight erupted on Georgian TV network Qvemo Kartli, after two politicians clashed during a studio debate.

Polad Khalikov, a parliamentary candidate for the Industrial bloc took exception to Democrat Vepkhia Gurgenishvili calling him scum, prompting him to throw a pen.

Elections in Georgia are scheduled for October 8.
