Clinton: 'Kohl made us part of something bigger'

Former US president Bill Clinton has paid tribute to former German chancellor Helmut Kohl at an event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Speaking next to Mr Kohl's coffin, Mr Clinton said he "gave us the chance to be involved in something bigger than ourselves", he said.

Mr Kohl - who oversaw German reunification - died last month.
