Macron: 'We have taken the wrong path'

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced sweeping changes to France's government, accusing it of being too rigid.

He said he plans to cut the number of MPs by a third in an effort to streamline government, saying the country had "taken the wrong path" in the past.
