The City Without Jews: 1924 film warns of scapegoating and persecution

The City Without Jews, a silent film released in Austria in 1924, was for decades believed to be lost.

After being rediscovered in a Paris flea market in 2015, it has now been restored and returned to the cinema screen.

The film, based on a dystopian novel by a Jewish writer, predicted the rise of Nazism, with Jews attacked and forced to leave their homes.
