France: President Macron slapped by person in crowd

France's President Emmanuel Macron was slapped in the face when visiting south-eastern France. He was pulled away by security guards, but shortly after returned to continue interacting with the crowd.

Later, in the French National Assembly, Prime Minister Jean Castex addressed parliament, calling the incident "an attack on democracy".
