French election: We can create a sovereign France - Marine Le Pen

Far-right leader Marine Le Pen has called on those who did not vote for Emmanuel Macron to back her in the second round of votes in the French presidential election.

French projections suggest Mr Macron will face a run off against Ms Le Pen in the next round of votes.

According to national broadcaster France Télévisions, Macron received 28.4% of the vote while Le Pen came second with 23.4%.
