'I would like to meet my cousin, Joe Biden'

"Hello, my name is Cora Naughton and it is really nice to meet you" - a distant cousin of President Biden says she would welcome the chance to meet her famous relative during his visit to County Mayo on Friday evening.

The US president will address a large crowd of people outside a cathedral in the small village of Ballina.

It is from Ballina that Joe Biden's ancestors on his late mother's side, the Blewitts, emigrated from to America during the Irish famine in the 19th century.
