Shane MacGowan's family dance to Fairytale of New York during funeral

Family and friends of Shane MacGowan have paid tribute to the lead singer of The Pogues, at his funeral in County Tipperary.

Hundreds of people gathered inside and outside the church in Nenagh to say their farewells to the songwriter, who died last week aged 65.

Some of his famous friends took part in the ceremony including Nick Cave, Johnny Depp, and Bob Geldof.

In her eulogy, his widow Victoria Mary Clarke described him as "a genius and a beautiful soul".
