Steam train picks up Isle of Man bus strike strain

A three-day bus strike in the Isle of Man has begun after drivers voted to take action over measures which include a £3,000 pay cut.

Final talks between Unite and the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure failed on Tuesday.

A limited bus timetable is in operation on some routes and the island's steam train and electric trams are also being used as a contingency plan.

School buses are also affected alongside scheduled buses for the public.
