Blind Bob Corkish to attempt Isle of Man 85-mile walk

An 86-year-old man will attempt the Isle of Man Parish Walk for the first time on Saturday.

The 24-hour walking race covers 85 miles and is set to attract almost 1,500 competitors.

Bob Corkish, who is registered blind, said: "I'm proud that I am able tackle it."

He will be joined by his daughter and grandson.
