Alice in Wonderland translated into Jerriais

Lewis Carroll's classic children's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has been translated into Jersey's native language.

Geraint Jennings has been working on the translation in parts since 1999 and said it turned out as more of an adaptation than a direct translation.

He read the court scene where the Queen of Heart's tarts (or Jersey steamed pudding, in this case) are stolen in the language for BBC News.
