Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe in Jersey for Man of Steel

Hollywood descended on St Helier's waterfront on Friday for a special screening of Man of Steel starring Jersey born Superman Henry Cavill.

Thousands of people lined the red carpet in the hope of getting a look at the stars of the film.

Cavill was joined by Russell Crowe and Amy Adams.
