Jersey explosion: Investigation to be led by Jersey CID

Jersey Chief of Police Robin Smith has said the investigation into the explosion which killed seven people at a block of flats in St Helier will be led by Jersey's head of CID.

The explosion happened at the three-storey Haut du Mont residential block on Pier Road, St Helier, on Saturday at about 04:00 GMT.

Families of the victims are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.
