Businesses begin to reinvest in Rio's favelas
In Rio de Janeiro, the recent crackdown on gangs has given slum-dwellers a new lease of life.
In the favela of Complexo do Alemao in northern Rio, the gangs have now gone and banks and businesses are moving in.
The Brazilian government has earmarked nearly $5bn for investment in the area.
