Bolivia's famous "Cerro Rico" peak has crater

Bolivia's Cerro Rico, or "rich mountain", is one of the country's icons.

But as a result of decades of silver mining, the mountain is now showing warning signs of exhaustion.

Its peak has lost its once perfect conic shape, and in January a huge crater formed at the top - causing geologists to worry that it could be at risk of collapsing.
