Polls to open in Peru presidential vote

Polls are due to open in Peru for the country's presidential elections.

It is shaping up to one of the most unpredictable in decades, with none of the five main candidates expected to win outright.

Opinion polls favour two of the most controversial figures, a leftist former army officer, Ollanta Humala and Keiko Fujimori, the daughter of the disgraced former president.
