Colombia floods prompt emergency declaration

A state of emergency has been declared in Colombia as heavy rain continues to cause flooding and landslides across swathes of the country.

More than 200 families have been left homeless in the central town of Utica after a mudslide engulfed an estimated 80% of the town.

Meteorologists say five of Colombia's provinces have seen double the amount of rain average for April.
