Colombia's victims to be compensated
Victims of Colombia's long-running civil war may be entitled to compensation as President Juan Manuel Santos has formally approved what is being called the Victims' Law.
Colombia has been in serious civil conflict for more than half a century, with a three-way war between the government, leftist rebels and paramilitaries.
The new Victims' Law will compensate families of those who died and aims to return millions of acres of land to displaced people.
