Residents evacuated after floods in Mexico City

Over 2,000 families had to be evacuated from their homes in Mexico City after torrential rain caused widespread flooding.

Residents in the neighbourhood of Cuautitlan tried to save their belongings as water levels rose up to two metres high.

Health workers are inoculating people living in the affected areas against water-borne diseases.
