Lost interview with Fidel Castro recovered

A new documentary has run a recently-discovered interview with former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, done just days after his forces toppled the dictator Fulgencio Batista.

The Longest Day, by Cuban filmmaker Rebeca Chavez, shows the then 32-year-old Castro reassuring the country that liberty and civil power had been restored.

Cubans have given mixed reactions to the documentary.
