Dozens of leather-clad bikers descended on the coastal town of Varadero at the weekend for Cuba's first ever Harley Davidson convention.
Having a gathering dedicated to these icons of American engineering in the communist country would have been unthinkable 20 years ago.
Some see it as a sign of the gradual thawing of US-Cuba relations.
