Appeal for return of French journalist missing in Colombia
A friend of Romeo Langlois, the French journalist missing in Colombia, has appealed for his safe return.
Mr Langlois was "taken prisoner" during a raid by Farc rebels on Colombian soldiers, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe has said.
A police officer and three soldiers were killed in the raid, and at least another four injured.
The troops were trying to destroy cocaine laboratories at the time.
Italian journalist Simone Bruno, who has known Mr Langlois for 12 years, said they were both aware of the dangers of joining the operation.
