Cuba's crumbling housing stock

In Havana, seven out of every 10 houses need major repairs, according to official statistics.

Many residents own their homes, but many have lacked the funds to maintain them and as buildings collapse or are deemed inhabitable, a housing shortage has formed.

Local residents tell the BBC's Sarah Rainsford that this means much of the city's architectural history cannot be saved.
