UK firm invests in Cuba 'green energy'

Cuba's once thriving sugar industry has begun opening up to foreign investment for the first time since the revolution.

British firm Havana Energy has become the first to sign a joint venture and will build a green power plant at one of the country's biggest sugar mills.

The project will also attempt to harvest a much-hated weed to use as biofuel.
