Rio favela has 'more CCTV cameras than London'
Police in Rio de Janeiro have started using CCTV to watch communities in Rocinha, the city's biggest favela which they claim to have 'pacified' in 2011 when they expelled a large number of drug traffickers.
They say it is now the best monitored places in the world, with a higher ratio of cameras per resident even than London.
Residents and police spoke of what effect they think the cameras will have on the neighbourhood.
