Contraband petrol traded between Colombia and Venezuela

The Arauca River, which acts as a border between Colombia and Venezuela, is one of the least regulated frontiers in Latin America.

Traders from both sides use small boats to carry products such as petrol across the river between the two countries - sometimes legally and sometimes illegally.
