Cuba's former MLB star Marrero turns 102
Conrado 'Connie' Marrero, the world's oldest living former Major League Baseball player is celebrating his 102nd birthday with family and friends in his Havana home.
He played for the Washington Senators in the 1950s and worked well into his eighties as a coach.
As one of players who stayed in Cuba after the revolution, he is viewed as a link between the old professional Cuban League and post-revolution amateur Cuban national baseball system.
