Rio steps up help for crack addicts ahead of World Cup

The drug traffickers who operate in much of Rio have led to Brazil having one of the biggest problems with drug addiction in the world.

An estimated 1.2 million people here are said to be addicted to crack cocaine - the most addictive and cheapest form of cocaine.

As authorities step up a programme of involuntary hospitalisation for addicts ahead of the World Cup, BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire visits a drug rehabilitation centre in Rio.
