San Cristobal: The birthplace of Venezuela's protests
Protests have been taking place for more than a month in Venezuela, after students of a local university took to the streets and clashed with the authorities following the alleged attempted rape of one of their classmates.
Rocks, logs, rubble, and discarded furniture are being used to shut down the streets of San Cristobal, the Venezuelan city that gave birth to the current wave of protests against President Nicolas Maduro.
