Brazil: Close presidential vote pivots on Minas Gerais
The presidential run-off vote in Brazil on Sunday is the tightest the country has seen in years and nowhere is the election being more closely fought than in the state of Minas Gerais.
It has been a pivotal place in Brazil's historical development and is also the home state of both the remaining candidates, the incumbent, Dilma Rousseff of the Workers Party and Aecio Neves of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party.
