Violence flares on Mexico streets over missing students

There have been clashes in Mexico City, as thousands of people took to the streets to protest at President Enrique Pena Nieto's handling of the disappearance of 43 students.

Protesters pushed away police in riot gear as they tried to round up demonstrators armed with molotov cocktails and firecrackers.

Mexico has been convulsed by a string of protests since the trainee teachers were taken from the city of Iguala. The attorney general says there is strong evidence all of them are dead.
