Argentine President Fernandez to disband intelligence agency

The Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner has announced she plans to disband the country's intelligence agency.

She told the nation, in a televised address, that she would draft a bill to set up a replacement body.

The decision comes in the wake of the death of the prosecutor Alberto Nisman, who died hours before testifying against senior government officials, including President Fernandez.
