US buyers flock to take Cuba festival cigars home

Cigar enthusiasts from around 80 countries have gathered in the Cuban capital, Havana, for the country's annual cigar festival.

It comes amid new rules granting US visitors to Cuba permission to buy up to $100 (£65) worth of cigars, previously banned under Washington's economic embargo on the communist island.

The directors of some of the main cigar brands in Cuba are hopeful that improved ties will bring renewed investment and support for the country's cigar industry.
