Cuba's only woman boxer leaves to pursue her dream

Cuba is famous for its boxers. It has won more Olympic boxing golds than any other country.

But women boxers are not allowed to compete in Cuba. After years of being unable to fight competitively, the country's only known woman boxer, Namibia Flores, has chosen to leave the island to pursue her sport in the United States.

Namibia's battle is the subject of a new documentary, Boxeadora, by Meg Smaker, which won best short documentary prize at the recent South by South-West Film Festival in Austin, Texas.

The BBC caught up with her on her last day in Cuba.
