Tour of Panama border camp quarters
The province of Darien on the border between Panama and Colombia is a security headache for the two countries.
Not only was it once used as a hideaway for Marxist Farc rebels fleeing the Colombian security forces, it is also on the main smuggling route for cocaine being transported from Colombia to the US.
The Panamanian border police and the Colombian army have established a joint border post to tackle the threats.
Panamanian officers are stationed here for a month at a time.
Captain Tejeira of the Panama Border Police showed BBC News around their bunker.
