Deforestation and the impact on Amazon tribes

The BBC has seen figures which show that the year-on-year rate of deforestation and illegal logging in the Amazon is increasing.

Futhermore, say campaigners, those areas most at risk from illegal loggers and mining are Brazil's indigenous communities.

The BBC's Wyre Davies reports from one indigenous village in the Amazon state of Matto Grosso, where members of the Cinta Larga tribe are struggling to keep intruders off their legally protected land.
