Scuffle breaks out in Mexican state congress

A scuffle broke out amongst lawmakers in a Mexican state congress, with fire extinguishers being let off to bring it under control.

Politicians from the Revolutionary Institutional Party tried to prevent a vote on electoral reform during a congress session in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca.

They attempted to take the dais from the National Action Party.

Fire extinguishers were used to break up the scuffle and the legislative session was finished at a different location.
