Thousands gather for mass with the Pope in Cuba

Pope Francis has celebrated mass in front of thousands of people in the east of Cuba, as he continues his visit to the country.

During the Pontiff's homily he paid tribute to the efforts and sacrifices made by Cuba's Roman Catholic Church.
