Venezuela elections: Voters head to the polls

Voters in Venezuela are heading to the polls on Sunday in Congressional elections that are being seen as the first serious challenge to the governing socialist party.

Despite having some of the world's biggest oil reserves, the Venezuelan economy is in recession and inflation is thought to be around 200%.
